DO I NEED TO PAY A DEPOSIT?

Yes, we require a deposit and this is registered with the Deposit Protection Service (DPS). Deposits are usually the same amount as 1 months rent.

DO I NEED TO SIGN A CONTRACT?

Yes, all tenants are required to sign a minimum 3 month Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement.

WHAT CHECKS DO YOU DO?

We use Open Rent to carry out checks and this is what they provide:

  • Credit Check
  • Linked Address, Identity & Fraud Information
  • CCJs, Decrees, and other court information
  • Right to Rent Check Advice
  • Affordability Rating
  • Previous Landlord Reference
  • Income & Employment Check
  • Rent Guarantee Insurance Eligible

ARE ANY BILLS INCLUDED IN THE MONTHLY RENT?

Yes, we include Gas, Electricity, Water, and Council Tax. All rooms have High Speed WI-FI Internet from Virgin Media included in the bills too. There is also a cleaner who comes every 2 weeks to clean the shared areas.

DO YOU ACCEPT COUPLES OR MORE THAN ONE PERSON IN A ROOM?

I’m afraid we do not accept more than one person occupying a bedroom because the facilities in the houses are not setup for more than this.

WHAT FACILITIES ARE AVAILABLE IN THE HOUSES?

Individual Bedrooms furnished with double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, carpet or laminate, curtains and TV aerial point.
Shared Living Room with a sofa, table and chairs.
Shared Bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.
Shared Kitchen with cooker, hob, washing machine, 2 fridges (1-2 shelves per tenant), 2 freezers (1-2 shelves per tenant), microwave, sink and at least 2 cupboards for each tenant.

DO YOU ALLOW PETS?

I’m afraid we do not allow any kind of pet(s) as there is not enough space for them and other tenants may have allergies.

DO YOU ALLOW SMOKERS?

We accept tenants which smoke, but only outside.

IS THERE ANY KIND OF PARKING AT THE PROPERTIES?

Yes, all our properties have free on-street parking. We have never struggled to find a space close to them.
